GENERAL

SCOPE
The Specification defines the performance characteristics of Lithium-Ion power supply cum battery back up that power up the load and simultaneously charges the built in battery of 3.7V@ 1200mAh capacity.
At the event of AC input Power failure, this battery back up will supply power to the equipment for 1Hr. approx (Power supply load 0.50A) .

BATTERY CHARGING
Battery Charging will take place with constant Voltage, Constant current Maximum charging current of the battery is limited to 0.30A ± 10%, Maximum Charging Voltage is set at 4.50V.

PROTECTIONS:

OVER TEMPERATURE PROTECTION
The Power supply is protected against over temperature. In case of over temperature the power supply goes to latch mode. the might be return to normal state by AC recycle. This is provided with a large hysteresis to avoid the PCB board over heating incase of fault conditions. the shutdown threshold at the case of Internal Room Ambient Temperature is >70ºC.
OUTPUT OVERLOAD / SHORT CIRCUIT PROTECTION
The power supply is protected against over load & short circuit . During over load & Short circuit the power supply will go to hick up mode and resumes to normal operation on removal of fault condition.
INPUT HIGH VOLTAGE PROTECTION
The Power Supply is protected against input high voltage so it can withstand up to 440VAC supply.

PRODUCT SAFETY:

DI-ELECTRIC VOLTAGE WITHSTAND TEST
1.50KVAC RMS, 50Hz for one minute (trip current set at 5mA) Between Shorted Input and Output terminals.
INSULATION RESISTANCE WITHSTAND TEST
When tested with 500VDC Megger shall be >100M ohms Between Shorted Input and Output terminals.

INDICATIONS:

BATTERY CHARGING
Amber LED is provided to indicate battery charging.
BATTERY FULL CHARGED
Green LED is provided to indicate battery full charged.

SURGE PROTECTION:

4KV Differential mode.
